Our short term goals are to
participate in local Florida
Art festivals,
and to share our sculptures with other
art enthusiasts.
In time, we hope to travel
to other states to display our
Florida Wildlife sculptures.
Taking our art to the web
makes the process even
more exciting.

Several years ago Ian was diagnosed with severe cancer.
What followed was radical surgery and years of healing.
Faith and hope kept him going.
After moving to Central Florida, he viewed a sculpture of a
ray in a gallery in St Augustine Florida. That inspired him to
try to create some of the wonderful
wildlife we have in Central Florida.
As an avid inshore fisherman, he observes many wild
marine
animals in the gulf.
He scouted fallen trees in the neighborhood and began
working.
Ian discovered sculpting was good therapy, and the wood
became works of art.
At urging from his family, two sculptures were entered in the
County fair. One received best in show, and the other won
first place.
A gallery in Homosassa offered to display some of his work.
The organizer for the Homosassa Seafood Festival saw his
work, and asked Ian
to participate in the Fine Art Show.
The show was so successful, and enjoyable.
That was two years ago, and Ian has been accepted in many
Fine Art shows since.
Shows
All of the sculptures are made of  native Florida trees.
Most are of different types of oak. Several are carved from Cedar and Wild Florida Cherry
wood.
Ian rough cuts the tree into the shapes he sees.
After that, he uses many tools to get the deeply detailed animals you see.
Some are tinted with artistic stains.
All are sealed with numerous layers of polyurethane.
We like to mount the smaller sculptures on crushed oyster shell rocks  from the Gulf,
which are very unique, or driftwood  in unusual shapes.
We would love feedback about our products.
